SOFT's client located in New York, NY is looking for a Production Support - SWIFT Messaging for a long term contract assignment.An IT Professional with extensive experience working with SWIFT messaging formats -
Hands-on technical experience in SWIFT products such as SAG/SNL, AWP, HSM, etc…
Experience and extensive knowledge of MT and MX (ISO20022) SWIFT standards.
Experience implementing ISO20022 standard migration from MT.
Experience supporting critical distributed systems in a correspondent banking environment.
Experience with Bottomline’s GTX product is a plus
Ability to work with developers, engineers, external vendors and business partners in the implementation of software and hardware upgrades.
Your role as a SWIFT Operational & Technical Support Specialist:
You will support a related group of applications and infrastructure used to manage communications between internal applications and the SWIFT network.
Your responsibilities will include heavy interaction with business units and technology partners, and external vendors.
You will report to the Officer for Business Technology for CBIAS.
Work with Business and Technology analysts to develop and implement requirements for new functionality
Requirements validation and traceability
Understand and implement change control procedures
Heavy emphasis on regression testing
Incident management of production outages: analyzing, troubleshooting, escalating, communicating and resolution of operational issues when they occur
Ensure system resiliency and operational continuity by participating in component and site failover tests conducted throughout the year
Work with multiple auditing entities and information system security officers to provide evidence of compliance to best practices and defined policies and procedures
Develop and implement improvement opportunities and operational efficiencies across support lines
