SNI is looking for Project Team Leads for a 4-6 month contract to assist a local non profit. The Team Leader position is responsible for providing the overall supervision of a team of eligibility specialists supporting the Harris County Emergency Financial Assistance program. This position is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of programmatic operational functioning and works closely with the Director - COVID, Vice President, Programs, finance and development teams. The Team Leader is responsible for supporting the timely contact of qualifying clients, ensuring that client files are maintained in accordance with agency policies, client data is inputted into designated database(s), ensuring payment requests are prepared in a timely manner and for the gathering and reporting program metrics. JOB DUTIES Ensure timely contact with qualifying clients, appropriate interactions, timely collection of required documentation and verification of required documentation. Ensure precise and accurate documentation of services provided, including client files and entries into the program databases. Ensures the timely submission of payment requests to the finance department and rectifying of payments to client files. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or other relevant field OR two years of experience in social services is accepted. 2 years supervisory experience and/or project management experience, required. Bilingual in Spanish/English, written/verbal (preferred). One to two years of experience in case management preferred. Nonprofit experience (preferred) Flexible and effective team player, able to adapt to changes and a busy workplace environment. Ability to work with diverse communities. Excellent organizational skills and an ability to self-motivate. Excellent written/verbal communication and people skills. Computer literate - experience with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and using internet. Ability to work under pressure, address multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to identify key issues in problem solving and implement effective and creative solutions. Pay will start at $24.50/hr and include a $1000 bonus at the completion of the project.
