Houck Services, Inc., one of the area’s leading Commercial and Industrial Specialty Contractors, is looking for Stainless Steel Pipe Welders to join the Industrial Division. A reliable means of transportation is required; a valid driver’s license is preferred.  Pre-employment drug testing and physical is a requirement for candidates.

About Houck Services Industrial Division: Our division is responsible for the construction, modification and maintenance of industrial facilities; Including but not limited to design and installation of piping systems (both food contact and utility), Pressure vessel repair (R-Stamp), structural modification and new installation, heavy rigging, equipment installation and maintenance, as well as custom fabrication and more.

Position summary: Houck services industrial division is looking to expand our team; we are currently looking for Tig welders proficient in high purity sanitary tube welds as well as schedule pipe. 

Requirements of Pipe welders:
•	Preform quality weld in both shop and field conditions.
•	Have working knowledge pipe prep fit up and purging process. 
•	Be able to demonstrate proper fit up, purge, and pass a visual GTAW 304SS 6G pipe test (2” sanitary tube, Sch. 10, Sch.40, ect.) prior to employment.
•	Must supply personal tools. 
•	Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
•	Must be able to pass all required safety training required by state and federal agencies.
•	Overtime, and weekend work is regularly available. 

Preferred skills:
•	Experience working in food and pharmaceutical facilities.
•	Ability to layout and fit pipe.
•	Ability to read blueprints and Isometric drawings.
•	Experience operating scissors lifts, boom lifts, fork trucks. 
•	SMAW (7018, 6010, 308-16 and 309-16) and GMAW (Carbon and Stainless, Hardwire and Duel Shield).
•	Structural welding experience.
•	Shop fabrication experience.
•	Willingness to expand and grow within the company. 
•	Welding certifications.
