About this job
Privately-owned machine shop looking for full time CNC Machinist. Employee would need strong communication skills, as well as troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Basic computer skills are a must. We are a drug free workplace.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operation of CNC machines in accordance with customer needs.
2. Control and contribute to documentation such as part Travelers and individual instructional documentation.
3. Assist in troubleshooting a variety of daily occurrences throughout the shop floor.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in a job shop environment.
3. Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
4. Basic computer skills needed.
5. Mechanical knowledge is highly desired.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Position is full time Monday through Friday
