General Labor, $15/hr, Day Shift, Westland MI
We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for a medical waste treatment facility in Westland, MI. A Plant Operator has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, and double checking paperwork. What we are looking for is an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.
Everyone employed at Workbox Staffing receives access to a personalized career consultant, healthcare, disability insurance, and advancement opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
Weigh incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers (using our Weighbridge)
Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
Load the Washsmart system (sanitizing system)
Lifting 55lbs and push a four wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
Can stand for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
Can work well with a team because we are all about team work!
