Unified Communications Engineer

Job Description **This is a full-time 100% remote opportunity! Eliassen Group is seeking a Unified Communications Engineer to contribute to the technical design, architecture, configuration, and implementation of core elements that comprise an enterprise voice network. Main projects include migration and upgrades of enterprise voice systems (Cisco) supporting 200+ branch offices for a national healthcare firm. This is a permanent role to be worked remotely for a company headquartered in Columbia, MD. All interviews will be done virtually, and interview processes will begin immediately as candidates are identified. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the Unified Communication Engineer: Help to plan, design, and implement large enterprise voice/network solutions Work with project team members to refine requirements and meet project deliverables Assist Solutions Architects with new technology and vendor selection Requirements of the Unified Communications Engineer: 8+ years’ experience managing and supporting enterprise Unified Communication/voice solutions to include Design, Documentation, and Implementation Administrative experience with the following Cisco solutions: Unified Call Manager – 10.x – 12.x, Unity Voicemail, Unified Contact Center/Contact Center Express Ability to configure and maintain voice (CUBE) routers Preferred knowledge of IP routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP Preferred knowledge in WAN technologies MPLS and SD-WAN Keywords: Unified Communications Engineer, CUCM, Direct Hire, 100% Remote Job ID: 338873About Eliassen Group: Eliassen Group provides strategic talent solutions to drive our clients’ innovation and business results.
