HOA Community Manager – Competitive Salary – San Antonio, Texas The Role Are you passionate about great customer service? Would you like to work for an innovative company? Spectrum Association Management, a homeowner’s association (HOA) management company, is seeking a HOA Community Manager to be the liaison between the HOA’s board of directors, homeowners, and vendors. Operating a portfolio of communities, the successful candidate will have the ultimate level of ownership in completing all tasks and projects, be a customer service champion and manage vendor relationships. The key responsibilities of a HOA Community Manager include, but are not limited to: •Managing tasks for a portfolio of associations, and facilitating association board meetings and annual meetings. •Vendor Management: consistent follow-up and over-communication, taking time to understand projects well. •Project Management: cultivating collective decision amongst allocated Boards, generating detailed RFPs, gathering bids, generating comparison charts, negotiating contracts, scheduling and overseeing work and verifying its completion. The Person The key skills and qualities of a HOA Community Manager: •High-level organizational skills in faced paced environment. •Experience and knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Ability to catch on to other business computer systems. •Some experience and knowledge of financial statements and budgets. •Comfortable with public speaking in small and large meetings; Ability to attend or run evening meetings (usually 30-40 per year). •Great conflict management skills in sometimes stressful situations; Strong customer-friendly and informative communication skills. •Experience with gathering bids for large projects and management of those projects.
