Responsibilities


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years of work experience of relevant experience.
  • Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following areas:
    • Defining, implementing, and operating a data governance bodies, including typical data governance policies, processes, and standards
    • Elicit requirements and use cases for selecting a data cataloging tool
    • Implement and populate a data cataloging tool with data assets
    • Define metadata management policies, standards, processes, and procedures
    • Translating business needs into long-term architecture solutions
  • Experience with agile delivery
  • Experience with project and program management best practices
  • Working knowledge of data management and data cataloging solutions and practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Nice to have:

  • Data Management certification from an industry recognized standards organization
  • Relevant industry certifications demonstrating knowledge of metadata management, data governance, and data cataloging

Travel Expectations: 80% (if live outside of NY)
