Aurora Health Care, in affiliation with the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, is seeking a fellowship trained geriatrician interested in leading a multidisciplinary team to provide consults to hospitalists, specialists, and the primary care team to round on the med surge units with a geriatric practice model. This position is a part of a stable integrated health care system in the top decile for quality of patient care with a supportive medical community. Located at our Aurora St. Luke's campus, the position also includes:
- Participating in the ACE advisory committee, scholarly and quality activities required for growth of the program
- Teaching to Fellows, FM residents and a key member of our delirium prevention program/Hospital Elder Life Program
- Base Plus Compensation Model with Student Loan Forgiveness (based on criteria)
- Opportunities for scholarly opportunities include: presenting at national meetings, collaborate to develop and assimilate best practices and champion for excellent care for older adults
