Job Summary

The Scheduling Assistant is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients. The Scheduling Assistant is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system.
  • Negotiate availability and shift assignments with CAREGivers.
  • Follow up with all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Monitor service hours of CAREGivers to limit overtime.
  • Hold CAREGivers accountable for meeting expectations of assignments, including hours worked, and additional shifts offered.
  • Follow up and communicate CAREGiver and client issues to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Recognize opportunities to increase service hours with clients to enhance and/or increase quality care.
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Participate as needed in all CAREGiver meetings
  • Perform other functions and responsibilities deemed necessary

Qualification:

  • Office 365 experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Previous customer service and high-volume scheduling experience
