Are you looking for a unique and challenging way to utilize your talents and experience in Healthcare Management?  A new opportunity is now available in the Coastal Southern California for a Nurse Manager Medical Surgical.

The Medical Surgical Nurse Manager will oversee a staff of over 85 full time employees, and will be supported by 2 Assistant Nurse Managers. The Medical Surgical Nurse Manager will report to the Director of Nursing Services. 

The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical and Telemetry Services will oversee a 30-bed unit which sees a variety patients recovering from Medical conditions, Surgical procedures and cardiovascular ailments. The Medical Surgical Unit will see a diverse patient population, which a large number of Orthopedics, Oncology, Geriatric and Neuro patients. 

The Medical Surgical Nurse manager will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budget, serve as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promote maximum growth and development of each employee, support nursing research and assure patient advocacy.

The Medical Surgical Care Unit Nurse Manager is expected to lead this staff, and continue to raise the bar of excellence the Medical Center is nationally known for their premiere level of care.  Last year the Medical Center saw: 55,000 Emergency Visits, 2,300 births and over 4,000 inpatient surgeries.
