The Supply Planner is self-motivated with strong analytical and communication skills. This individual must have a basic understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts, possess the ability to make operational decisions, leverage multiple sources of information and technologies, and effectively collaborate in a team environment across multiple departments. Some knowledge of forecasting and supply is recommended. The Supply Planner is responsible for balancing customer expectations, efficient scheduling, and working to provide supply at the lowest annualized cost. Job Description Responsibilities Coordinate production schedules and delivery of materials to establish a sequence for operations that helps Lamb Weston meet established production goals and fulfills demand requirements. Manage or assist in the finished goods distribution from producing locations to forecasted sales locations in collaboration with Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations. Analyze demand data and report on updated projections including impacts of forecast accuracy and/or production performance discrepancies. Embrace continuous improvement efforts by seeking out and advocating for new processes and technologies companywide. Assist in the documentation efforts for the current/future processes. Achieve/maintain company excellence for forecasting and inventory replenishment. Assist Sales in managing customer expectations on OTIF/Fill Rates/In Stocks/Internal Forecast Metrics. Collaborate with other Supply Chain groups to drive overall improvement. Help provide strategic direction and information on the capabilities and limitations within LW and any Co-Man(s) associated. Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the plant(s) assigned. Provide coverage for co-workers when necessary to help drive consistent supply. Any other duties assigned or requested. Position Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Business, Mathematics or other related fields. (Prior experience will also be considered) Experience in a production/inventory/demand planning/supply chain environment. Experience with any forecasting and inventory replenishment application software preferred. Strong technical, mathematical and analytical skills required. Ability to adapt well and be flexible in changing environments. Ability to consider multiple factors when making good decisions for Lamb Weston. Computer Skills: Ability to use a variety of technologies and tools including Microsoft Office, ERP System, SAP, and other forecast or replenishment tools. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills.
