Job Duties/Scope Of Work
Perform high quality painting of all items in the DOE owned and leased fleet inventory. Work includes making complex body and fender repairs, welding as it applies to the performance of major and minor crash repairs to all types of automotive equipment preparation of surfaces, mixing and matching of paints and lacquers, and brush and spray painting of mobile and stationary equipment such as automobiles, trucks and locomotives, cranes, dozers, welders, diesel-driven generators, tailgate loaders, manlifts, etc.
Basic Qualifications
*High School Diploma or GED.
*Must have minimum 5 years full time experience in auto body repair.
Desired Qualifications
*Experience in fiberglass repair, the application of gelcoat and experience in repairing aluminum body panels.
*Self starter with the ability to understand and follow work procedures without oversight.
