TEMP WAREHOUSE OPPORTUNITIES BELOW ALL POSITIONS ARE NEEDED UNTIL THE END OF OCTOBER: Mechanic Temporary Support Labor description: • The successful incumbent will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians, specifically the majority of their time will be spent supporting 2+ personnel jobs. • The individual needs to have working experience with mechanical (Pumps/Motors/Valves/pneumatics/hydraulics) and electrical (VFD’s, 480VAC – three phase motor wiring) industries. • The individual will perform basic mechanic & electrician work on belted conveyors, augers, rotating shafts, and related conveyance equipment. • The individual will follow standard shift requirements with their peer mentors, including shift handoffs and work downloads, work order documentation and communication, standard breaks/lunch periods, and preshift meetings & stretching workouts. • The individual will also need to follow facility PPE requirements (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, etcc.), Food Safety GMP’s (good manufacturing practices), and facility rules and procedures. • Responsibilities: o Partner with existing mechanics on 2+ personnel jobs, to provide assistance in handling/rebuilding/maintaining large and heavy food production machinery o Inspect machinery and components for deficiencies, including following general preventative maintenance inspections and routes. o Performing general cleaning and maintaining of auxiliary areas of production facilities (inclusive of wastewater operations) o Perform general tooling in maintenance shops (utilizing hydraulic press, drill press, cut off saw, pipe threader, and other small hand tools – hand drill, circular saw, holesaw, wheel puller) o Assist in repair & maintenance of Powered Industrial Trucks (Crown lifts) o Assist in maintaining HVAC equipment/filters, industrial air compressors, and other auxiliary equipment. • Qualifications: o Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience o Must be able to lift heavy objects (80 lbs+) o Demonstrated experience maintaining, operating and troubleshooting manufacturing facility related equipment o Willingness and ability to follow and listen to directions from peer team members on job related processes and systems. o Willingness to support manufacturing maintenance team as staffing needs dictate (weekends, holidays, 3 shifts) Working Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm in North East San Antonio, TX.
