Newmarket Fire & Rescue

The Town of Newmarket Fire and Rescue Department is accepting applications for the position of part-time Administrative Assistant. This position performs routine clerical, computer, accounting, and administrative office work under the general supervision of the Fire Chief. Interested applicants must have strong communication skills and ability to work well with the public. The successful candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of five years office experience.

  • Assists Officers
  • Responsible for new applicants, training and State of NH paperwork
  • Responsible for ascertaining completeness of payroll to Finance
  • Maintains files and records (Roster, Post Run Sheets, etc)
  • Responsible for data entry to budget excel spreadsheet
  • Responsible for EMS billing (Temsis)
  • Reconciles Munis with Fire & Rescue Budget sheets
  • Orders general supplies and medical supplies (as per EMT)
