The Ashville VA Medical Center is seeking one full-time BC/BE Chief and One Full-time Staff Hematologist/Oncologist. The ideal candidate is an independent care provider who is highly skilled to care for Veterans in the new 1.3-million-dollar outpatient setting, 11 new infusion chairs with 3 other physicians, 2 mid-levels and a devoted PhD pharmacist. This position allows you to perform research & development as well as teaching students and residents from Wake Forest and Duke University. We are part of the mountain area consortium with a very strong outside education alliance. Call coverage: 1:3, mostly telephone call – very rare. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30-4:30.

U.S. Citizenship, a full, active, and unrestricted U.S. medical license, and BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist are required.
