NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR. Will lead experienced advanced analytics andmanagement consulting professionals that excel at driving innovation in globalsupply chain strategy and operations in Beaverton, OR. Will invent the supplychain of the future and solve operations challenges to improve performance andcreate sustainable competitive advantage. Will solve challenging strategic supply chain questions. Will utilize astrong quantitative background in operations research and statistics, dataanalysis and modeling as well as knowledge of supply chain optimization,operations, and inventory management. Will create data science strategy and roadmaps. Will assess currentcapabilities and create a roadmap aligned with corporate growth strategy. Willmanage and grow a team of data scientists, economists, and analytics managersto deliver insights and analytical capabilities to the supply chain. Will leada network of analytics professionals within the supply chain functions. Willbuild strong relationships with senior leaders and work collaboratively andcross functionally to develop strategies to leverage data. Will bring arigorous statistical, data-driven mindset to business decisions and foster adata-driven culture. Will work closely with business stakeholders on projectscoping, management, and recommendations. Will lead business sponsorship ofanalytics recruitment, talent pipeline, university partnerships and trainingacross supply chain. Will represent data science for the supply chain withinternal and external stakeholders. Will partner with internal and externalresources to achieve goals and deliverables. Will engage in domestic andinternational travel of five percent or less. Will have direct subordinates ofthree to five. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, statistics, or math. Experience: eight years of overallprogressive experience in data science. Skills/Requirements: 6years of experience: (1) developing analytical systems and working with bigdata; (2) analytical programming languages and utilizing experience in adaptingto new and innovative languages; (3) data structures and reviewing how data isstored and can be queried; (4) analytical algorithms, including forecasting andmodeling; (5) manipulating, cleansing, and engineering data; (6) building and maintainingpredictive analytical models that are being used continuously; (7) visualizingand story telling the results of an analysis and how an algorithm is working;and (8) Agile development methodology.
