OUR EXCITING DOG TRAINING TEAM IS GROWING AND WE NEED MORE TRAINERS! Lorenzo's Dog Training Team has been focused on keeping dogs out of shelters and in happy homes since 1987. We are committed to providing our clients with serious training that delivers serious results, utilizing the accepted principles of balance and positive influence. The secret to our success is training the owner. More shelter dogs are being euthanized than ever before in the United States. Even after adoption, many of these dogs are returned due to behavioral issues even after trying a dog trainer. To assist rescue groups and keep dogs out of shelters throughout the country, we have built a team of qualified and highly skilled dog trainers. As a Dog Trainer with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team, you will become a valuable team member. Our Dog Training Academy program will teach you the necessary skills in order to become a successful dog trainer. Qualified candidates receive concentrated, curriculum-based instruction at our Cleveland, Ohio training facility by experienced, certified Lorenzo's professional dog trainers. Responsibilities will include: Providing serious training and serious results to the clients. Educating clients and local communities about the importance of dog training in our culture. Building business relationships with local pet professionals. Providing excellent customer care to the clients and compassion for their dogs. Requirements: Must be 18 or older Must love working with dogs Minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D Must have good driving record and a reliable car Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have no physical limitations Must be able to bend, stoop, hike, kneel, run, and lift. Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to work independently and without direct supervision. Must have a personal dog that will serve as a professional demo dog. Must be able to work on Saturdays, holidays and late evenings.
