Primary Purpose: The Xpert Centralized Crew Trainer will provide onboarding, orientation and thorough positional training within the parameters of the prescribed crew training program, utilizing mandatory tools (flipbook, job aids, training booklets particular to level of experience) and communicating progress and evaluation to relevant parties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achievement and maintenance of good standing in all standards of employment, as evaluated by immediate and secondary supervisors (SM and DM, or Director)
  • Attendance at either 2-day Train-the-Trainer (T3) workshop or 2-day 1:1 with 3-day Trainer shadow, facilitated and/or coordinated by Training Department leadership, to achieve certification as Xpert Trainer
  • Demonstration of knowledge of all crew positions, standards of execution, service times and standards
  • Conducting of all Orientations for new hires within the prescribed district, to include:
  • Usage of Orientation flipbook, to apprise new hires of Employee Handbook standards (i.e. appearance, attendance, evaluation)
  • Introduction to e-learning, training program, expectations and store organization
  • Completion of electronic New Hire Paperwork, submitted online for payroll processing and E - Verify. Rectification of any paperwork errors or follow-up forms such as WOTC or Tentative Non-Confirmation, as applicable. New Hire Paperwork, for which extensive training and support is provided, includes:
  • I-9
  • W-4, state and federal as applicable
  • Auxiliary forms, may vary by state (asset protection notification, job description, safety program)
  • Insurance forms, may vary by state
  • Handbook Acknowledgement and Sexual Harassment
  • Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and HIRE Act call completion
  • New Hire Paperwork DOES NOT include access to confidential pay rate information
  • Training of all newly hired crew members of little/no previous Dunkin' experience, according to prescribed training program, at prescribed central training unit for their district
  • Testing out of all newly hired crew members of previous Dunkin' experience, according to prescribed test out procedure to assess and level-set their experience to our executional standards, otherwise administer training as described above
  • Administration of e-learning usernames and monitoring of required course completion within prescribed amount of time
  • Transfer of existent e-learning records for hires of previous Dunkin' experience
  • Documentation of performance in all positions, whether fully training or testing out
  • Communication of performance documentation according to current best practice standard. This may vary from district to district on method, and who is informed
  • Participation in ongoing development clinics (i.e. Trainers Webinars, on-site observation and coaching with Training Managers, newly released e-learning or in-person courses, etc.)
  • Any other reasonable job responsibilities as assigned by the Training Department, in conjunction with immediate and secondary supervisors

  • Must be able to fluently speak/read English
  • Capable of counting money and making change
  • Able to operate restaurant equipment (minimum age requirements may apply)
