Systems Configuration Analyst

Overview of Position

The Systems Configuration Analyst will be directly supporting our mission to inspire a better healthcare system by analyzing complex business problems that can be solved with automated systems. The Systems Configuration Analyst will identify gaps and provide technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications.
 

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Participate in the configuration of company applications, including developing configuration requirements documentation
  • Design and configure details of automated systems to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with other System Configuration Analysts and customers to propose system solutions and estimated cost savings


What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or 4 years of relevant experience
  • Two or more years of experience as a Systems Configuration Analyst or equivalent role
  • Healthcare technical systems experience, including the ability to identify technical solutions for business problems
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends to see where improvements can be made to algorithms and processes
     

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Experience with the HealthEdge Health Rules Payor application

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

  • General office demands
     

How much should I expect to travel?

Change Healthcare takes the health and safety of our employees very seriously, and we remain thoughtful and cautious in our decisions about returning to the office and traveling. In normal times, this job can expect to travel an estimated 50% of the time.
