Position Purpose: Process and balance all customer remittances for all companies using electronic data processing equipment to include, cash, checks, and web transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Process all reversals for misapplied payments, returned checks, bad debt, and any other payment related transactions. Effectively and professionally communicate with others within the department, vendors and cross functional areas in order to foster a positive working environment. Provide necessary payment transaction information as requested. Qualifications: High School diploma required and experience in related field helpful. Must have the ability to perform all required responsibilities timely and accurately. Demonstrated ability to communicate procedures clearly and accurately. Must possess strong analytical and, organizational skills. Must possess solid keyboarding and PC skills in a Windows environment. Must have the ability to work within strict time-frames to meet required deadlines. Ability to work in a changing environment. Demonstrated reliability and flexibility. Ability to perform alternate duties and working hours as assigned during Emergency Response situations.
