Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Needs Assessment Clinician who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Needs Assessment Clinician you will,
•Evaluation and assessment for patients presenting to the emergency department with behavioral health emergencies
•Triage multiple administrative tasks to include answering the Needs Assessment line, insurance verification, intake appointments, and providing resources to callers
•Facilitate hospital to hospital transfers and obtaining pre-authorizations & initial authorizations.

Qualifications Include:
•Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
•Master's & Graduate level licensure may be considered.
•Experience with conducting risk assessments
•Firm understanding of diagnostic formulation
• Excellent customer service and verbal & written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to display a caring demeanor •Knowledge of patient confidentially, rights and laws pertaining to behavioral health
•Ability to deal with crisis, and potentially combative patients while maintaining personal and emotional equilibrium.
