Primary Responsibility Responsible for a product or product line, including development, participation, profitability, roll-out and testing to ensure overall contribution to organization. Leads project teams for timely and flawless implementation. Conductscomparative analysis against competitors and provides strategic planning of product direction and features. Essential Job Functions • Research new and existing products. Monitor industry trends, including researching competitor practices and pricing. Undertakes research projects and creates focus groups, as necessary. • Develop and execute a strategic product plan. Develops, maintains, and fully understands product descriptions, including how the products work from start to finish. • Participates in establishing annual goals and objectives for each product and develops management reports to track process on a monthly basis. • Assesses needs and opportunities for new products and positions products within the philosophy of Credit Union and context of participation. • Responsible for effective product communication and knowledge oversight of product features and benefits to team. • Work with all levels of management in what product development, as well as working with internal departments on issues related to evaluation, implementation, launch, and ongoing servicing. • Provides recommendations to management on product pricing strategy and develops methods to track the progress of recommendations that are made. • Command of the intricacies of each product line, and serve as the in house expert on a number of products-related issues. • All teammembers must comply with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions. • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
