INTERNET SPECIALIST (LEVEL I, II, or III) Del Mar College Posting Number: S459 Department: Information Technology Position Type: Exempt Employment Status: Full-Time-Staff Salary: Level I Minimum $41,735.00, Level II Minimum $47,476.00, Level III Minimum $52,772.00 Open Date: 07/21/2020 Close Date: 8/3/2020 Job Description Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Web Services in order to provide for quality, timeliness, efficient performance, integrity, and security of the College's web resources. This is accomplished by providing support services namely; Content Management System (CMS) development and user support, e-mail support services and administration, Learning Management System (LMS) support, providing research and development as needed, providing appropriate training to college faculty/staff/students as needed, and performing other college-wide web services duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Level I - Grade 614: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree. One (1) year related experience. Level II - Grade 615: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree. Three (3) years related experience. Level III - Grade 616: Bachelor’s degree. Five (5) years related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge in Unix and Window-Based programming environments Knowledge in SharePoint online, Azure, and Office 365 administration Expertise in Microsoft Exchange Knowledge in mobile application administration Experience in Higher Education Apache/Tomcat Web Environments IIS Web Environments Working knowledge of scripting languages, such as, Windows PowerShell and Apple Script Special Instructions to Applicants: This is a security-sensitive position.
