TITLE: Assistant Manager
PURPOSE: To manage Kona Inc, an independent Arby’s franchise toward attainment of agreed upon sales and profit goals, working within the framework of company values and policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assume responsibilities for all facets of operation for one Arby’s Restaurant.
-Execute the Twelve Systems daily to ensure a clean, organized restaurant; prepare to deliver quality food, fast and friendly.
-Work quarterback position lunch, dinner, and weekends.
-Ensure Team Members, Team Leaders, and trainers achieve the appropriate training.
-Operate in accordance with established performance, profits, and operating standards set out in the OSM.
-Supervise and motivate Team Members, Team Leaders, Trainers, and other Assistant Managers to perform to their highest possible level of ability.
-Have a good working knowledge of all equipment, and assume responsibility for preventative maintenance of a unit.
-Maintain high standards of service throughout the operational day by demonstrating management of a unit.
-Utilize all management tools to keep neat, accurate and current records providing the historical data to plan for increasing sales and profits.
-Ensure all marketing plans are executed on time and accurately to build repeat customer visits.
-Communicate openly and honestly with subordinates, superiors, and all others about plans, progress, and problems.
-Provide leadership by engendering excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment toward company objectives. Crate and atmosphere of “Esprit de Corp.”
-Perform such other duties, as directed by the store manager.
-Responsible for increasing sales and making a profit.
-Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description.
-Handle and are responsible for all money in safe and tills correctly.
-Handle issues with Team Members, including but not limited to: Interviews, firing, counseling, keeping production, and cleaning jobs.
-Doing hourly rounds.
-Be aware of what is going on in and out of the store.
-Receive, check, refuse, and enter deliveries.
-Watch and take care of inventory variances.
-Report any maintenance problems.
-Do crew schedule as asked.
-Be ready for EVALS and other types of secret shops.
-Operate in accordance with established performance, profits, and operating standards as set out in the OSM.
This is a Franchise Position
