WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with Marketing to draft earnings press release and CEO / CFO earnings scripts 
  • Prepare draft earnings Q&A to prep management for investor questions
  • Develop quarterly financial earnings supplements
  • Partner with FP&A and Corporate Reporting in order to develop necessary backup material to explain quarterly and annual financial trends and changes in financial performance 
  • Quantitative and qualitative disclosure benchmarking against industry peers for disclosure and guidance 
  • Listen to (or read transcripts to) peer investor calls to track trends in the industry and disclosure
  • Manage relationship with investor base – buy side and sell side, existing and new opportunities
  • Key point of contact for inbound investor calls and emails 
  • Ongoing communication with investor and sell-side community to answer questions about company financial performance and strategic direction and vision
  • Attend industry investor conferences to deepen investor / sell side relationships and gain insights from peers
  • Member of the company’s public disclosure committee – review public filings and ensure consistent / appropriate messaging in all public filings
  • Coordinate with Treasury team on interface with rating agencies, when appropriate 
  • Plan periodic investor days as appropriate
  • Track investor ownership distribution – identify trends and prioritize management access

 WHO YOU ARE

  • Ability to work independently – develop a clear ask for what analysis is required to support investor discussions and work with subject matter experts throughout the company to compile relevant components 
  • Aware of and / or trained in Reg FD and public company communications
  • Strong financial analysis / valuation skills – ability to understand and explain financial statements and associated qualitative disclosure
  • Experience with earlier stage high growth companies a plus but not required
  • At least [5] years work experience in one of the following 
  • SaaS company Investor Relations or corporate strategy function
  • Sell side analyst from a top tier financial institution in SaaS or related sector
