Senior Partner Solutions Architect, Digital Customer Experience

This position can be based anywhere in the US where AWS has a significant presence. Seattle, San Francisco, Irvine, and Austin are preferred. AWS is looking for Solutions Architects to work with our most strategic software and hardware ISV partners in the Digital Customer Experience segment. You will have experience with marketing data infrastructure, mobile and email messaging infrastructure, user behavior analytics, real-time user data collection, A/B testing frameworks, and/or personalization frameworks. This is a hands-on, highly technical position for someone who can dive deep, build complex, AWS-optimized architectures, and develop a long-term strategy with AWS business development and service teams.

Responsibilities:
· Design and troubleshoot large-scale systems architecture, in addition to working experience with virtualized environments in the enterprise.
· Work directly with senior engineers at both top software vendors and AWS service teams, influencing their roadmaps and driving innovation.
· Serve as a key member of the AWS alliance team in helping to define and deliver the overall go-to-market strategy with Tier 1 & 2 digital customer experience technology partners.
You will be as comfortable white-boarding complex software architectures with a room full of engineers as you are briefing an executive audience. You will get the opportunity to work and connect with a wide array of AWS customers and partners, from well-established tech & consulting giants to innovative startups that were born in the cloud. You will author technical content such as whitepapers and reference architectures that will be leveraged by the global Solution Architect (SA) community within AWS. You will deliver technical webinars, speak at public events and file patents for what could potentially be a future AWS product or feature.

Candidates should have deep experience building scalable, secure and compliant systems. Experience working directly with enterprise customers is required. Previous AWS experience is preferred but not required. Strong public speaking and writing skills are required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of highly technical, hands-on job experience
· 5+ years working with software and hardware solutions used in large enterprises
· 5+ years in customer / partner facing role or extensive experience working with internal business leads to develop solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· An advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
· 3+ years experience building and designing solutions that run in virtualized environments
· Extensive communication skills and technical abilities
· Previous experience with AWS is desired but not required · Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting large-scale systems architecture, in addition to working experience with virtualized environments in the enterprise
· Presentation and written communication skills
· Organized and goal focused, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
