Senior Accountant

Beacon Hill Financial is working with a RAPIDLY expanding real estate development company in Montgomery County, MD to identify a Senior Accountant! The Senior Accountant will have the opportunity to showcase their full cycle accounting skills and lead the month-end close! Job duties: Assist with and review accounts payable and accounts receivable. Calculate, forecast, and track revenue and expenses for job costing purposes. Prepare and review journal entries and post to the general ledger. Perform reconciliations of the general ledger, balance sheet, bank accounts, and fund accounts. Spearhead month-end close procedures including adjusting entries, financial statements, and reconciliations. Generate and analyze monthly and quarterly reports. Review loan documents and record interest. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of experience in the real estate development space OR a combination of 5+ years of real estate and public accounting. Solid communication skills and ability to work with a team. Experience with real estate software such as Yardi is preferred. Find Us on Facebook!!
