The Whirlpool Ottawa Team is seeking a select group of individuals who will hire directly into Whirlpool. The roles will likely be on second shift which runs on a 5-8hr schedule from Monday thru Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Day to Day (what a typical day or week looks like in this role) Must be able to stand, bend, push, pull, squat all thru the entire shift. Along with lifting between 25-35 lbs. Able to use power, air and hand tools, Must be able to work in hot and humid conditions. Must be will to rotate positions on a hourly bases. As an associate, you will need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. What You Need To Succeed Must have a High School Diploma or a GED Must be at least 18 years old Work experience - One year of Previous Manufacturing experience is required. The ability to read and write simple English or American Sign Language, including following detailed directions.
