Candidate will support the PMS377, Amphibious Ship Program. Be a part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the company A week in the life of the Senior Planning Yard LCU 1700 LCM Electrical Engineer: Responsible for all Electrical Engineering/C4N for LCU 1700 LCM and sustainment efforts Develop change records (BoatAlts) for craft improvements and safety issues Provide technical guidance and documentation for craft changes, including installation drawings, TM updates, and ATPs Provide technical and design support on emergent issues in the Fleet and during all availabilities Respond to emergent Fleet Life Cycle support and engineering issues as a result of SEIPT meetings for items related to action items/studies Serve as the lead technical authority for reviewing/answering LARs processed and approved by the Planning Yard and travels for design craft checks when necessary (ACU-4, ACU-5 and NBU-7) Work/update the status of work in PMS377’s IDESC Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
