Advanced Practice Provider - Full Time, Dover Delaware
Bayhealth is seeking motivated and personable advanced practice providers to join our team of three neurosurgeons and four APPs, a Growing and dynamic neurosurgery program.
A successful candidate will either have experience in neurosurgery or be able to learn quickly the care of the neurosurgery patient in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Inpatient duties include; first assist duties, performing consultations, developing diagnoses, interpreting radiographic studies and carrying out care plans for our patients under the direction of the neurosurgeons. Outpatient patient care would include developing diagnoses and ordering the work up with supervision and eventually independently, to assist the neurosurgeons in gleaning appropriate neurosurgical candidates for intervention.
To join us, you must possess or be able to obtain a license to practice in Delaware and if selected, be approved by the Bayhealth credentials committee to practice in the neurosurgery specialty. Certification by a national certifying body is required.
Your communication skills should be highly developed with experience or willingness to master Epic EMR, Word and PowerPoint. A strong desire to give patients high quality care, diligent discipline to learn neurosurgery, and a strong sense of personal responsibility with the ability to function at a high level within a team will make you a successful fit.
