About this job
Our client located in Arlington Heights seeks a temporary Shipping Associate to support its device provisioning team for two months. They are the leading provider of mobile enterprise solutions and services. The company's commitment to excellence in service delivery has resulted in dramatic growth and an expanding client base that includes hundreds of Fortune 1000 commercial companies.
Responsibilities:
Receive boxes from incoming freight carrier and verify box count.
Unpacks and examine incoming shipments, sort damaged items and record shortages.
Affix batteries to device sleds as required.
Assemble cardboard containers or select assembled containers.
Insert devices into containers, using spacers, fillers and protective padding.
Verify shipping information and affix shipping labels on packed cartons.
Scan container and close shipping record in inventory system.
May perform ad-hoc assignments in moving, asset tagging, counting or performing quality checks of inventory as required.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs
