The RCP 2-Adult is responsible for independently utilizing respiratory care therapy to safely, therapeutically, and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality respiratory care services through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, and other departments. Responsible for responding to all code blue/emergency situations in the hospital and acts as Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner in the absence of the Lead. Complies with the State of California standards for Respiratory Care.
Required Skills
Current California RCP license
RRT by the NBRC
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association preferred.
A City fire card within 6 months of employment.
Required Experience
2-4 Years in Acute Respiratory Care
