Position Summary Texas Oncology is looking for 2 Clinic Registered Nurse’s (RN’s) to join our team! This position will support the Sammons Cancer Center location in Dallas. This is a Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p position with no weekends, call, or major holidays. The ideal candidate for the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) will have the following background and experience: Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education Minimum of two years of nursing experience Oncology experience is strongly preferred RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state Current CPR certification required What does the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) do? Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices The essential duties and responsibilities: The clinic nurse is responsible for the coordination of care of patients, working closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to facilitate treatment, diagnostic testing and support of the patient through their cancer journey.
