Project Superintendent - Heavy Civil Construction

PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking a Project Superintendent a Heavy Construction company based in Bend. The Project Superintendent is responsible for all civil site operations including leading a crew of laborers and operators to complete projects. The ideal individual will have a minimum of 8 years of recent experience in heavy civil construction performing similar duties.
Project Superintendent Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe/clean work environment for employees and the general public
- Manage site crew including labors and operators
- Organize workflow and communication with Project Manager
- Coordinate orderings/shipment of materials, and trucking with Trucking Manager
- Coordinate equipment maintenance with Shop Manager
- Manage and complete necessary paperwork for office, clients, and municipalities
Project Superintendent Requirements:
- 8 years existing experience as Superintendent (or equivalent) in the heavy civil construction
- Experience with CAT/Deere heavy equipment and TopCon GPS/Survey Equipment
- Knowledge and recent experience with HCSS
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Proficient in listening, writing, verbal, email and texting communication platforms

Supervision: This position will supervise employees.
Basic Working Conditions: The employee must have their method of dependable transportation and work full time during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Overtime and work on weekends may be needed. The employee must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods and will be exposed to the outside elements as needed.
