Janitor

We are currently recruiting for aJanitor - Part-time (20-25 hours per week 9am-2pm)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, scrub, and refinish floors
• Clean, dust, polish furniture, HVAC vents, window blinds
• Clean windows, doors, walls, blinds, etc.; removing dirt, markings from interior
• Clean restrooms, empty trash, refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels,
• Ensure all areas of the building are clean, sanitary and orderly
• Set up and clean up for lunch service
• Clean the cafeteria before, during and after lunch
• Pick up litter on school grounds
• Assure safety during inclement weather to include providing slip protection on wet floors, securing against wind damage, removing debris from downspouts when clogged
• Assist as needed: moving furniture, unloading deliveries, cleaning unexpected spill,vomit, toilet issues, etc.
• Advise facilities of any mechanical or building maintenance needs
• Other duties as assigned
