Clover Leaf is looking for an Electrical Safety Support Specialist to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team and individually. The Electrical Safety Support Specialist shall demonstrate experience interpreting and applying electrical safety standards and codes (OSHA, NFPA, and NEC), perform arc flash and shock risk assessments, have experience delivering training, evaluating regulatory compliance for construction and general industry operations and implementing safety through design principles. The individual shall have the following responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Evaluate compliance of electrical system designs and installations to NFPA, NEC, and OSHA Codes/Standards and make appropriate recommendations to improve worker safety and compliance Consult with line organizations, safety engineers and other electrical safety subject matter experts regarding analysis and mitigation of electrical hazards and best practices. Be directly involved in all aspects of our clients electrical safety training requirements. Assist line organizations in implementing NFPA70E requirements including performance of shock and arc flash risk assessments. Support electrical safety team members to develop, implement, maintain, and manage our clients electrical safety program. Perform performance and trend analysis, support root cause investigations, and issue resolution. Participate with the DOE Electrical Safety community Provide mission essential line organizations with responsive ES&H customer support as needed Required: Master’s degree in electrical engineering or Electronic Technology or a closely-related discipline and 10 years of experience; or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Knowledge of and experience with the application and interpretation of applicable regulations and guidance such as OSHA 29 CFR 1910, NFPA 70E, NEC, etc. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q -level security clearance and higher clearances as necessary. Desired: Active DOE/DOD security clearance. Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment under minimal supervision. Excellent customer relationship focus and workplace interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Certified Safety Professional. NFPA/International Association of Electrical Inspectors Electrical Code Inspector's Certification. NFPA Certified Electrical Safety Professional certification.
