Junior or Intern Data Analyst /Data Scientist– Location: Piscataway, NJ Duration: 3-6 Months Should have some experience with Python, Java, SPARQL, SQL, Tableau and RDF The Data Analyst provides technical support to Company’s Product Engineering Team in developing data analytics methodologies and applications. This role works closely with researchers and engineers to understand the principles of semantic analysis, natural language processing, automated data processing, data management, and enterprise solutions. The Data Analyst directly takes part in the data analysis and testing of tools that are integral parts of researcher-centric analytical products. The role engages in projects that need Python, Java, SPARQL, SQL, and in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms, natural language processing, recursive neural networks, and classical machine learning. The resource collaborates in ongoing projects to deliver solutions used by millions of users globally on a day-to-day basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Python, Java, SPARQL, SQL, and RDF are essential • Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, natural language processing, recursive neural networks, and machine learning • Experience in using cloud-based technologies throughout the machine learning product development • Understanding of data warehousing concepts such as data migration and data integration. Some experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure • Excellent Debugging and code-reading skills • Documentation and structured programming to support sustainable development practice Qualifications/ WORK EXPERIENCE : • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or similar • Experience in both front-end developments, especially with Angular is plus • Experience in implementing large scale software solutions is a strong plus • Demonstrated skill in project planning and collaborating with large groups • Ability to describe challenges and solutions in both technical and business terms • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all organizational levels EDUCATION: A current graduate student in a master’s or PhD program is preferred.
