We are looking for a technical, service-oriented, talented 100% REMOTE Data Operations Engineer. In this challenging position, you will use the latest technologies in distributed computing to run our data pipeline processes on large-scale data. These pipeline processes span ingesting, scrubbing, suppressing, codifying and publishing. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with data analytics, ETL processes, SQL, scripting languages (Python), cloud technologies (AWS). A background in healthcare working with healthcare data analytics products or experience with NoSQL is highly desired, but not a required. Why join us? Competitive Base Salary! Job Details Day to day: Execute data pipelines and other data service requests. Triage and resolve data pipeline issues. Run data quality reports and perform data improvement interventions. Monitor the progress of data flow and report status to a broader team. Attend daily standups, report status, plan next set of service tasks. Identify and implement new processes and scripts to improve efficiency and quality. Serve as a technical resource in resolving questions related to databases or other data issues. Requirements 4+ years of Software Development experience in a Data Ops Engineering capacity (preferred) At least 2+ years’ of extensive experience running ETL processes (in AWS preferably) Proficient with Python and/or similar scripting languages Advanced SQL skills (preferred) Organized, methodical and focused on detail Strong communication skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working against timelines and managing multiple assignments Self-motivated and results-oriented Nice to haves/bonus points for (not required): Experience in healthcare industry with healthcare data analytics products is highly desired Experience running data pipelines with cloud technologies such as AWS (preferred), GCP, and/or Microsoft Azure is highly desired Experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases is highly desired Interested in hearing more?
