MORE ABOUT THE RN REGISTERED NURSE POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Registered Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment
2. Be accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan
3. Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
4. Provide care to patient population that is typically 60% stroke patients who have 2-4 week stay in the acute care unit before they are transferred or discharged to go home

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. RN license in Michigan
2. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC)
3. 2 years of Medical Surgical experience, AHA BLS. Ortho, Trauma and Neuro experience preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. BSN
2. National Certification in Medical Surgical (CMSRN)
3. 2 years of Medical Surgical experience, AHA BLS. Ortho, Trauma and Neuro experience preferred.
