*MUST HAVE*: Prior mortgage closing experience
Title: Mortgage Closer
Experience: 1-3 years of mortgage closing experience
Location: Richmond, VA
Compensation: 20/hour
Brief description of job duties:
- Prepare broker and correspondent loan closing packages, and ordering funds at the appropriate time for scheduled funding
- Ensure all loans are closed in a timely manner and in accordance with the company and investors requirements
- Reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy
- Reconcile HUD-1 to ensure correct loan settlement, review closed loan docs prior to funding and issue a funding number
- Assure error free documentation prior to distribution of closing packages
- Deal proactively with all parties involved in the loan closing to avoid and/or resolve problems at closing
