Food Processing Company in the Western Ave area is looking for general labors to work in the macaroni room.
SUMMARY
The Labor position is responsible for supporting the overall functioning of the prep room in preparing spices for recipes.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Sanitize work area
- Weigh food product
- Properly seal bags
- Transport complete recipe to staging area
- Perform other related duties as required
WORK SKILLS
- Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions from management
- Able to work flexible hours as required
- Read digital scale
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Good math aptitude
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions
- Stand on hard surface and wet flooring for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Occasional exposure to subzero temperatures
EXPERIENCE
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Regular Schedule: noon to finish
Pay Rate $12.25/hr.
