Lovelace Medical Group is now hiring an Invasive/Interventional Cardiologist at its Christus St. Vincent location in Santa Fe, New Mexico

As part of Lovelace Medical Group, New Mexico Heart Institute comprises a team of exceptional cardiologists, invasive/interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgeons including a team of 5 in Santa Fe New Mexico. The Institute's operations will be moving into a brand new 1200 square foot cardiology suite which is currently under construction and due to open in January of 2021. This location is 45 minutes north of the New Mexico Heart Institute's HUB at the Heart Hospital at Lovelace Medical Center. The New Mexico Heart Institute provides high quality cutting edge vascular and cardiovascular care. We are growing and looking for a talented and dedicated interventionalist to join one of the most sophisticated cardiology programs in the southwest. Santa Fe is a beautiful mountain-west city which sees over 300 sunny days per year, commute times under 15 minutes, and offers an abundance of outdoor activities as well as a thriving cultural, art, and music scene.

We are looking for a provider who:

-Communicates effectively with physicians and medical staff within the group
-Upholds excellent bedside manners and ability to create a great patient experience.
-Ability to explain medical procedures and plan of care to patients.
-Attends departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested.
-Adherence and knowledge of laws to internal medicine, including HIPAA.

Position Requirements:

-Currently, board certificated or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
-Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NM
