Refuel your career with Handy Mart.  We are seeking a motivated and high energy Food Service District Manager to help manage our growth in food.  This position will be responsible for multiple food concept locations in Eastern North Carolina.  The food concepts include Subway, Which Wich, and our proprietary brand, Handy Mart Kitchen.

The right candidate should have:
•	Experience in food concept management including, staffing, food costs, and efficient processes
•	Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel
•	Experience in food equipment and technology
•	An extensive background in food service management.  Multiple location management preferred.  Five years of food service management experience is required.  
•	4-year degree in Business Management or equivalent degree or work experience equivalent to a 4-year degree.    
•	Excellent leadership qualities and be able to develop and mentor others to become top performers.
•	The ability to recruit, develop and retain quality talent.
•	The ability to ensure Company standards are being upheld throughout all locations.

Requirements

1.	Must be Servsafe Certified or obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
2.	Must be able to speak, write and read English sufficient to perform designated duties.
3.	Have sufficient vision or corrected vision to do necessary paperwork.
4.	Be able to frequently perform math calculations sufficient enough to make correct change, complete required paperwork and properly check-in and account for merchandise delivered by vendors. Store reports require basic accounting knowledge. Profit & Loss analysis requires some advanced accounting understanding.
5.	Able to work any hours stores are open, up seven (7) days a week if necessary.
6.	Able to lift up to 50 pounds, carrying cases of food and soft drinks.
7.	Must be able to constantly stand for long periods of time without sitting.
8.	Be able to read weight scales to ensure proper recipes are adhered to.
9.	Be able to operate an oven in baking food products.
10.	Be able to use sharp items of equipment safely and within established safety guidelines (i.e. knifes and food slicing equipment).
11.	Must have a valid driver’s license and adequate transportation in order to arrive at work on time and carry out Company business.  Motor Vehicle Reports will be obtained for Supervisor and reviewed annually or as warranted and must not contain convictions for serious traffic violations.
12.	Be able to assist in stocking shelves and coolers.
13.	Be able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers to place in dumpster.
14.	Be able to enter and work in a walk-in cooler and freezer.
15.	Be able to climb a ladder for cleaning windows, changing light bulbs, changing air filters, etc.
16.	Must be able to frequently travel between locations as needed.
17.	Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
18.	Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
