Hospital Director Materials Management - Full-time / Part-time

The Hospital Director Materials Management will oversee the operations of the organization's supply chain and materials management department. This will include working on materials management policies, objectives, and initiatives. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts with vendors, and working to ensure hospital inventory is adequately maintained. Previous experience in supply chain management will allow the Director Materials and Supply Chain to perform the duties and tasks necessary to run a smooth and successful operation.

The Director Materials and Supply Chain will report to the CFO, while working with other department leaders to achieve a seamless supply of materials. Working with leaders of the medical center, the Hospital Director Materials Management will work to create a cost structure that optimizes materials to various departments, while being cognizant of unit utilization. This role will also be in charge of ERP implementation, so it is imperative that the incumbent have recent experience with software implementation. This is a large hospital and this project is a top priority for this role.
