The Position: We’re looking for an Electrical Foreman/Estimator to help grow our commercial sector. Primary role would be managing projects and field staff while interfacing with the clients. Secondary role would be preparing estimates and bid proposals for commercial work. Our primary focus is taking a team based approach to design-build projects where the foreman, project managers, and engineers take active roles in all projects for their entirety. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of commercial field experience and an 01 Electrical Journeyman’s license in Washington with ability to obtain Idaho license. Project foreman experience preferred but not required. Experience with electrical estimating preferred but not required. PCIR will provide training in electrical estimating and the software tools used to prepare estimates. Familiar with the construction bidding process (estimating, pricing, timely submission, vendors, sub-contractors, etc.) Possess professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read requests for proposals, contract documents (drawings, blueprints, specifications, etc.) Understanding of state and national Electrical Codes as well as other electrical standards Proficiency with computers and Microsoft software suite. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, McCormick Estimating, & Bluebeam preferred but not required. PCIR will provide training. Responsibilities: Provide on-site management of commercial electrical projects including but not limited to assigning tasks, inspecting electricians’ work, monitoring team performance, reading blueprints, scheduling, quality assurance, and handling client interface. Review invitations to bid and requests for proposals, prepare electrical estimates and proposals. Estimate material, labor, and other direct costs using experience and software tools. Work with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, field staff, clients, project manager’s, and engineers during the proposal phase and construction phase. Attend job walks and pre-bid meetings. Business development through networking events, jobs walks, and existing relationships. The Location: PCI Renewables, Inc is based in Spokane, WA. Wage, Salary, & Benefits: The pay range we’re offering is $50,000-$65,000 DOE for this position.
