Data Center Engineer

We are a full-time employer and offer a full benefits package. We are currently looking for a Data Center Engineer for a long-term employment opportunity. Job Description: • Work with vendors such as electricians and cabling contractors • Responsible for moves, adds, changes and decommissions. Understands the change control and approval process • Oversee space and power planning as well as space and power monitoring and utilization reporting of raised floor environment • Communicate regularly across multiple IT groups • Provide support of up to 3 data centers at one time while assisting with the build out and maintenance of a new data center Job Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Center Environment • Bachelor’s Degree • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio • Possess strong verbal and written communications skills • Has experience in the data center environment, understands the criticality of a mission critical data center • Possess an understanding of DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) updates to drawings and documentation
