Position Overview

Home Instead Senior Care  is currently looking for an experienced, compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide. Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for providing direct patient assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Follow the plan of care and work collaboratively with the other members of the team.

Qualifications

• Has a current and active HHA license in the state of California.
• One-year prior professional experience.
• Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication, as well as organization skills.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with CA laws and organization requirements and is in good working order.
• Possesses and maintains current AHA CPR certification.
• Home Health or Hospice experience, a plus

• Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Kavis Healthcare, (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
• Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
• Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
• Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
