Job Description
PSG has partnered with one of the top employers in the Carlsbad area in search of a Payroll Analyst. This position is expected to be a six month contract and will start immediately on a remote basis. The position will transition to an in-office once permitted.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and guarantee semi-monthly disbursement of multi-state and multi-site payroll
- Process all garnishments, verification of employment, benefits and taxes in the payroll system consistent with federal and state laws and regulations
- Annually review the payroll calendar to take into consideration when holidays impact the pay date
- Knowledge of appropriate tax laws, payroll deductions, tax rates and maximum allowances for 401k, FSA, and FICA, state disability and other withholding's
- Supervises month-end and year-end procedures.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in business or equivalent required
- Five years of experience processing high-volume multi-state payroll
- Workday experience preferred
- Minimum of one year in a lead/supervisor position preferred
