Junior Mechanical Technician

Junior Mechanical Technician Quest Integrity, a global leader is inspection and engineering services, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Technician who will provide support in the assembly, testing and maintenance of proprietary state-of-the-art NDT (non-destructive testing) inspection equipment. The position is based in Kent, Washington. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receive and clean field inspection equipment * Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, repair and test * Help maintain supplies and equipment, including keeping the shop a clean and safe working environment * Modify and fabricate parts as needed for proper fit and finish * Pack and prepare equipment for shipments to projects * Perform other job duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * Post-secondary education in electronics or mechanics preferred * Strong mechanical aptitude with mechanical diagnostic skills * Machining experience and ability to read fabrication drawings is preferred * Experience using small hand tools and other types of power equipment found in a development lab * Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers * Excellent problem solving skills * Computer literate; familiar with MS Windows, Word, Excel, etc. * Must be detail oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required * Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required Quest Integrity is an equal opportunity employer.
